Our roots are in K-12 emergency preparedness.
We’ve been there for schools during some of their most challenging times, even when a school wasn’t an Hour-Zero client.
We’ve helped prepare schools to respond to emergencies like school shootings, child abductions, and natural disasters. Things we wish schools would never have to face, but they do.
We’ve supported our clients by nurturing safety champions, so their programs can grow and thrive.

Those changes have resulted in the Hour-Zero program improving and growing to provide a comprehensive safety solution. A holistic solution to cover emergency preparedness, eLearning for health, safety and wellness, incident management and reporting, emergency communications, fire planning, and a California Comprehensive School Safety Plan development tool.
What started as a school emergency consulting practice has evolved into a world-class K-12 safety and emergency program.
